The role of Brand Marketing & Communication is to contribute to the acquisition of new customers, and the growth and retention of existing client relationships. This includes brand marketing, with the aim of raising the business’ profile and presenting Orbital as credible leaders in the industry.

What the role involves
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, uphold, and periodically review Orbital's brand strategy.
  • Work closely with the Head of Brand Design to manage and evolve the visual identity, ensuring brand consistency across all channels.
  • Implement the marketing strategy in alignment with Product and focus on customer acquisition, retention, and conversion of target accounts through tailored initiatives.
  • Execute comprehensive brand and marketing campaigns across digital platforms like Email Marketing, SEO, Webinars, Paid Search, and Paid Social.
  • Utilise offline mediums, including Strategic Partnerships, Events, and Brand Collaborations, to enhance brand presence.
  • Develop and analyse marketing performance metrics and tools to evaluate campaign success and user engagement.
  • Adjust strategies based on performance insights for optimum outcomes.
  • Partner with the sales team to curate effective marketing materials, reinforcing sales strategies and pitches.
  • In tandem with the Head of Brand Design, oversee the management and periodic updating of the company's marketing website.
  • Collaborate with Design and HR teams to craft and sustain a potent employer brand, enhancing talent acquisition and retention.
  • Work alongside the Business Analysis and Product Marketing team to stay updated on competitor activities, product launches, and market trends.
  • Effectively manage and allocate the marketing budget, ensuring a high ROI on campaigns and initiatives.
  • What are the essential skills, qualifications and experience required for the role?
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in brand marketing and communication roles.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading multi-channel marketing campaigns.
  • Proficient in using marketing tools and platforms for analysis and campaign management.
  • Strong understanding of the fintech industry and competitor landscape.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.
  • Leadership experience with a track record of team development.
  • Budget management expertise.
