Senior Data Analyst

• Utilise a modern tech stack to analyse and query databases.
• Create, analyse and draw insights from financial/accounting reporting.
• Develop and own dashboards and reporting.
• Research, share and implement new methods to empower the usage and unlock the value of data.
• Liaise with stakeholders across the business to gather reporting requirements.
• Problem solve data-related queries.
• Communicate insights to senior management and across the organisation key to important decision making.
• Build the firm's enterprise data warehouse and data pipelines.
• Set up processes and systems to improve data efficiency.

• Professional experience with SQL required. Python desirable (but not mandatory)
• Experience and understanding of logical data modelling
• A background in accounting with understanding of accounting principles and reporting
• Experience within an Agile environment/Atlassian tools are desirable
• A strong attention to detail and quality, especially as it applies to data
• A clear and confident communicator
• A self starter who can take proud ownership of your work
• Demonstrate ability to manage stakeholder expectations
• Have passion working in a dynamic and growing start-up environment that is tight-knit, challenging and fun
• Strong analytical, organisational, and prioritisation skills, with a belief in writing documentation as part of SQL queries
• Technical skills:
• ○ Required Strong/Advanced Knowledge in SQL
• ○ Nice to have Python (data/data-frames - should used Pandas, Numpy or AWS Wrangler libraries)
• ○ Nice to have AWS cloud services (LakeFormation, Redshift)
• ○ An accounting understanding/background

• Bachelors or Master’s degree in STEM or Computer science
• 2+ years experience in data
• Experience a BI tool (Metabase, Tableau, PowerBI)Confident in SQL, PythonPrevious experience in a Tech, Finance, or product firm is desirable
• Experience in AWS is desirable
• Experience in ETL tools is desirable
• Accounting qualifications is desirable
