Full Stack Engineer

What is our mission?: We are on an exciting mission to revolutionise corporate treasury management through an innovative multi-currency banking and crypto offering. Learn more about our team and company story here.  What is the purpose of this role in the delivery of our mission?  As a Full Stack Engineer, you will be responsible for a full software development cycle: Design => Develop => Test => Deploy => Operate => Support. We have dedicated DevOps and QA, but we are looking for someone that has a strong experience of understanding the full cycle and who can deliver end to end. Has good exposure to TDD and DevOps.

What the role involves
What are the key responsibilities / activities of the role:
  • Build APIs that span multiple domains and multiple technology stacks 
  • Build intuitive user interfaces that can be life savers for on-call engineers and customer support 
  • Optimise application performance to enhance the overall user experience
  • Implement robust testing strategies to ensure the reliability and stability
  • Collaborate with product owners and other stakeholders to ensure an optimal solution to every problem 
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure timely resolution and minimise downtime
  • Actively contribute to a positive and collaborative team culture

  • Software Development: Accountability for the design, development, and maintenance of scalable and reliable software solutions.
  • Technical Innovation: Accountability for exploring and implementing innovative technologies and approaches to enhance product offerings and development processes.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Accountability for collaborating with various teams such as product management, and operations to ensure alignment and successful delivery of projects.
  • Sense of Ownership: Follow up on solution after delivery, and be proactive in possible improvements.
  • User Experience: Accountability for delivering intuitive and user-friendly interfaces that enhance the overall user experience and meet customer needs.

  • Backend development: 
  • Proficiency in NodeJs 
  • Proficiency in TypeScript 
  • NoSQL Database Management, proficiency in at least one of the following: 
  • DynamoDB 
  • MongoDB 
  • GraphQL: Designing and implementing GraphQL APIs
  • Agile: Experience working in Agile development environments, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and delivering iterative solutions
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues in complex distributed systems
